Church of Cyprus bishop Neophytos Masouras of Morphou claims that a pregnant mother enjoying anal sex will produce a gay child.
Cyprus Mail reports that the Christian bishop told an audience at a primary school in Akaki, Cyprus, last month that homosexuality is caused by pregnant women enjoying anal sex, declaring:
Homosexuality is usually a problem transferred to a foetus, when a pregnant woman has anal sex and enjoys it.
The Bishop said:
It happens during the parent’s intercourse or pregnancy. It follows an abnormal sexual act between the parents. To be more clear, anal sex.
[Saint Porphyrios] says that when the woman likes that, a desire is born, and then the desire is passed on to the child.
During “spiritual meetings of dialogue” (whatever that means), Masouras told the children: It happens during the parent’s intercourse or pregnancy. It follows an abnormal sexual act between the parents. To be more clear, anal sex.
I, for one, am glad Bishop Butt Stuff clarified, but am confused why he thinks anal is “abnormal.”
Masouras continued the statement by saying “[Saint Porfyrios] says that when the woman likes that, a desire is born, and then the desire is passed on to the child.”
In other words, he’s saying because mom likes butt stuff, her son will like butt stuff, too.
Masouras’s source on this is a “saint”, Porphyrios (Bairaktaris) of Kafsokalivia, who passed away in 1991.
The Wikipedia entry for him has some quotes, and nowhere in any of those quotes did I find anything about gay people being the result of their parents doing some butt stuff.
I did, however, find this quote from Porfyrios: The parents don’t help their children by lecturing them and repeating to them ‘advices’ [sic], or by making them obeying [sic] strict rules in order to impose discipline… With their wrong and/or negative attitude the parents convey to their children their negative feelings.
According to the Bishop of Morfou, gays are created if a straight couple, that happens to be pregnant, perform anal sex and only if the woman enjoys anal sex. Then if that occurs, such desires are transferred to the fetus.
