Do you love free food? A Cebu-based company is looking for “Mukbangers” for their videos.
If you love to eat and talk, then this job is for you! A company is interested in looking for a person who can enjoy a full feast and talk about anything and everything under the sun.
If you follow social media influencers, then you must know what a “mukbang” means. It’s when a host eats a variety of food while interacting with their audience. It became a popular trend in South Korea around 2010, and has been popular among celebrities and vloggers online.
Now, you can get the chance to be a “mukbanger!” Discovery Dive of Cebu is looking for a host for their show who can do a “mukbang.”
The announcement said, “We are hiring! We are planning to make a mukbang YouTube channel in Lapu Lapu City, Cebu and looking for a crew that can grow together with us.
Just like any mukbang show, the working tasks of the host include eating a lot in front of the camera. The host can also suggest and present their creative ideas to make the show entertaining.
Requirements are pretty easy. Basically, it requires a big love for food. It stated that anyone who is physically fit, can eat over 10 pieces of burgers or noodles or 5 whole chicken. Humor is required to engage and captivate the audience. The host must also still look neat even while eating. A degree is not required and even high school graduates are encouraged to apply.
What’s best, the free food is just the icing on the cake as the hired applicant will still receive a minimum wage salary plus incentives.
