A child has passed away while five other residents in General Santos City got hospitalized after eating ‘adobong palaka’.
Nowadays, a lot of people love to eat exotic food, which is very popular all around the world. Most of them love to try something new, which could give a unique sensation to their taste buds.
However, some less-fortunate people have no choice but to eat the available food on the table rather than to die of starvation. However, people should still consider the consequences of what they are eating.
The local government of General Santos City reported that two families in the town cooked and shared the frogs they have caught. The two families cooked the ‘frogs’ as ‘Adobo’, which is perfectly fit for exotic foods.

Unfortunately, the victims suffered from dizziness, stomach ache, and vomiting after consuming the frogs. One of the victims passed away before he has been brought to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the five others were able to reach the Barangay Health Center for immediate treatment and medication. Three of them are also children. The victims are now showing signs of recovery after the incident.
