heartfelt footage of memorial photos and burial ceremonies.
Auyaray's online representation of her grandfather elicited conflicting
reactions, with some blaming her for exposing his vulnerable moments and
others offering genuine support.
3. Rumor has said to be a 399-year-old woman!
As Luang Pho Yai's TikTok videos spread, internet speculations spread that he
was a miraculous 163-year-old guy. Some internet creators took advantage of
the situation, resharing Auyaray's films without her permission, distributing
bogus news and misinformation with sensational titles and music in order to
gain quick hits and views.
Such rumors propagated on platforms like TikTok, with one user even stating he
was a 399-year-old woman (no record of a human being having lived that long).
4. Netizens left harsh and ruthless jokes in the comments area.
While many people respected Luang Pho Yai, the darker side of the internet
couldn't stop making callous comments about his age and illness. Online people
jokingly referred to him as "bro" and claimed he outlived dinosaurs.

Luang Pho Yai's emaciated appearance aroused speculation that he was
practicing sokushinbutsu, a peculiar Buddhist practice in Japan in which
people mummify themselves while still alive. It is important to note, however,
that he was not involved in this procedure.
His granddaughter, Auy Auyaray, demanded respect and empathy from individuals
who had misconstrued the situation and made jokes about him.
