Gretchen Barretto aired her frank message for her niece Julia Barretto about the person who should have raised her

Gretchen Barretto has hit out at her niece Julia Barretto, as the family feud of the popular showbiz clan continued to play out on social media.

On Saturday, Gretchen said that it’s time for the younger actress to change from being a “Barretto” to “Baldivia”, pertaining to her birth name, Julia Francesca Barretto Baldivia.

She unhesitatingly aired her frank message for her niece Julia Barretto about the person who should have raised her.


According to Gretchen, Julia would’ve become a nicer child had she been raised by her father, comedian Dennis Padilla (born Dennis Esteban Dominguez Baldivia), instead of Marjorie.

“It’s time to change from Barretto to Baldivia, Julia,” she wrote.

“Ang bait mo ngayon kung kay Dennis Padilla ka lumaki,” she added.

Her strong statement through her post immediately became the talk of the town and elicited mixed reactions from netizens.
